 Waldorf

The characteristic of Waldorf's teaching method is its emphasis on artistic activities, which allows children to grow positively through physical and spiritual participation. It advocates setting teaching content according to the laws of human consciousness development and the stages of consciousness growth, allowing children to develop and cultivate their artistic talents and imagination with the support of teachers, guiding the development of will, and guiding children through language, mathematics, and nature courses. Connect senses and emotions, and focus on "slow living" and "slow learning". Through various art activities, children are guided to learn aesthetics. This is a relatively innovative education system at present. During my internship, I also saw students expressing their ideas through painting, and teachers were able to understand students’ physical, psychological, and spiritual states through their paintings.

Montessori

Montessori is another teaching method that is suitable for students to learn. Its characteristic is the emphasis on real-life experience rather than just learning in a "safe" environment. The main educational spirit is to let children learn and grow in an open and orderly space, using life-like activities, not dominating but only assisting children to complete the "work" projects of their own choice. Focus on children, understand their "sensitive period", and focus on life and sensory education. During my internship, I saw students using their spare time to look for teaching aids that interested them. It’s great that students can learn while having fun and teachers can observe students learning.
